Motegi MotoGP Round To Be Rescheduled After Japanese Quake

The catastrophic earthquake that hit northeastern Japan on March 11th caused devastation beyond comprehension to a large section of the Pacific nation, the tsunami the quake triggered adding further destruction. Even though the thoughts of everyone either involved in or following MotoGP were first and foremost with the nation of Japan and its people, they could not help but consider the fate of the Japanese Grand Prix, due to take place on April 24th.

The initial response of Dorna was the only sensible one: to wait and gather more information on the ground. As the scale of the devastation became clear, it became evident that racing would be impossible on the scheduled date. Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta told Mela Chercoles of Spanish sports daily AS that the decision lay in the hands of the Motegi circuit: "we will do what they ask us to do," Ezpeleta said.

Well, easy come, easy go. I told you that Donald Trump had extended an offer to the first alleged Tiger Woods’ mistress, Rachel Uchitel, to be on the upcoming season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’Then it was announced today that Rachel is one of the people who will be on ‘Celebrity Rehab‘ (for $500,000, according to TMZ). How did that sit with the Donald? TMZ asked.

Trump’s reaction: “It’s a terrible decision. We have zero interest in her now.”Trump thinks Rachel will regret her decision. “Look at what ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ did for Piers Morgan. He’s getting Larry King’s job. She made a bad mistake.”Trump’s final shot: “Celebrity Apprentice is a huge show and ‘Celebrity Rehab’ is not. I have 10 people who want to be on the show for every slot that’s available. I’m moving on.”

Two rumors do not make a USB dongle, but things certainly seem to add up — one leaked document told us T-Mobile would get its first 21Mbps HSPA+ WWAN modem in March, and now a second one (once again courtesy of TmoNews) pegs the T-Mobile Jet’s “value-conscious” successor for the 23rd of this month. Of course, if that first document was correct, there are faster 42Mbps modems just around the corner. Your call.
